Donate to New Patient Assistance Fund

Jayhawks who struggle to meet their basic needs experience obstacles to learning. Student Affairs works to remove barriers to student success and make learning possible for all students. As a unit within Student Affairs, Watkins Health Services is pleased to announce a new Student Patient Assistance Fund in support of the Student Affairs mission.

The Student Patient Assistance Fund provides financial assistance to students who are unable to afford a medical procedure, lab work, imaging, medicine or other healthcare expense recommended by their provider at Watkins Health Services. It can also help cover the cost of therapy visits with Counseling & Psychological Services.  

Now that the fund is established, we have started referring patients to the program who might not otherwise be able to afford these services. Ongoing donations will help keep the fund sustainable for future Jayhawks to thrive during their KU journey. A donation of any amount is greatly appreciated. Give now!
