Flu Shot Clinic Information

Watkins Health Services conveniently offers flu vaccine clinics for KU students, faculty, staff, and affiliates each fall. The flu shot is not required but is strongly encouraged.

The cost of the regular dose of quadrivalent influenza (flu) vaccine offered at all clinics is $40. Those 65 years and older wanting the high-dose vaccine (with a higher cost) must schedule an appointment at Watkins.

Please bring your health insurance card with you to the clinic to have your insurance billed. We do not contract with Medicaid, Medicare, and Medicare Supplement plans.

• Current KU students may be billed by Watkins or have their insurance billed for this service. Please also bring your KU ID.
• Current KU Employees enrolled in the State Employee Health Plan (and spouses enrolled in the employee’s plan) have flu shots provided by Watkins Health Services covered in full as a preventive care benefit. 

Save time by completing the necessary forms in advance and bringing them with you to the clinic. You may request a printable version of these forms by emailing our Registration & Records Office at whs-notifications@ku.edu.
