HERO and the Peer Health Educators are helping to create a sex-positive culture at KU by hosting a weekly Sex-Positive Friday tabling event at various campus locations. Sex-Positive Fridays provide fact-based sexual health information and make free, inclusive safer sex tools available to members of the KU community. Check the Peer Health Educators Events on Rock Chalk Central to see where we are this week. For more information, call 785-864-9570.
Sex-Positive Coaching & Education
A free 45-minute coaching session is a chance for KU students to meet with a sexual health educator. You can ask questions about sexual health and sexuality so you can make informed decisions when making changes to your lifestyle or sex life. Partners are welcome. For questions, email Jenny McKee.
Gender Affirming Care
Watkins Health Services offers gender affirming care appointments for hormone therapy.
Free HIV Testing
Watkins Health Services and the Health Education Resource Office offer confidential HIV testing events at various campus locations twice-monthly throughout the spring and fall semesters. Testing is FREE for students, faculty and staff. Testing is done by a simple mouth swab (no needles!), and results are available in 20 minutes. Refer to the calendar of events for upcoming testing opportunities. For more information, call 785-864-9570.
