WHS Staff Spreads Holiday Cheer

Thursday, December 18, 2014

In true holiday spirit, the staff of Watkins Health Center collected items in December to donate to the Willow Domestic Violence Center.  These contributions will help brighten the holidays for women and children currently receiving shelter and/or services from the Center.

The Willow Domestic Violence Center fields upwards of 2,500 crisis calls and referral calls per year, houses 250-300 adults and children annually, facilitates adults and child support groups, and offers services and public education in Douglas, Franklin, and Jefferson Counties.
